Biography
Dr. Greene was raised in the Dallas, TX, area. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics in 2014 and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) in 2018. She completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation at UHCO in 2019 and is a recipient of the Feinbloom Low Vision Award. She spent several years in private practice, focusing on primary care while also introducing low vision rehabilitation services to her clinic and patients. She returned to the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2024 to combine her passions for patient care and teaching. Dr. Greene currently serves as a clinical attending optometrist in both the Center for Sight Enhancement and Family Practice Service, helping to mentor students throughout all stages of their optometric education.
