Biography

Dr. Courtney Morrow was born in Nashville, TN. She received her Bachelor's degree in physics and astronomy in 2013 with special interest and research in lenes, mirrors, and telescopes. She went on to receive a doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After practicing in a private practice setting for a year, she joined University of Houston College of Optometry for her residency in family practice from 2018 to 2019. After a year of adjunct teaching, she joined an interdisciplinary practice with a focus on ocular disease in 2020. After five years, her love of teaching has brought her back to join the faculty at UHCO.

Her hobbies include reading a good book, traveling with friends and family, and playing video games. She also enjoys volunteering ,and a good plate of tacos. Her guilty pleasure is cake, ice cream, or a smooth matcha latte on a rainy afternoon.
