Biography

Hamza Shah is a fellow Chicagoan who obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Food Science from Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Shah pursued his passion for Optometry by graduating from the Illinois College of Optometry, where he was actively involved in research. After graduating, he went on to practice comprehensive optometry in the Chicagoland area.

Following a year of practicing Optometry, Dr. Shah's commitment to continual learning and providing better patient care led him to complete a residency in Ocular Disease at the Center for Sight and Dry Eye Institute. He is eager to join the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he looks forward to contributing to the academic community. During his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys spending time with his wife, engaging in outdoor activities, and watching sports.
